    Shane working on cortisol samplesThe Tropical Aquaculture Laboratory (TAL) is a University of Florida/IFAS satellite facility in the Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (FAS) Program of the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences. Graduate studies in the Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences program emphasize the needs and interests of individual students. Graduate students work closely with their faculty advisers to develop comprehensive programs of study. Admission to graduate study is based on the individual merits and interests of the applicant, fulfillment of the general admission requirements of the Graduate School, and acceptance by a faculty adviser. Students interested in pursuing graduate research and study in the Tampa Bay area toward a MS, MFAS, or PhD should contact faculty at the TAL prior to submission of their application to UF.  Faculty at TAL are particularly focused in the areas of aquaculture, aquatic animal health, and non-native species.  For more information on FAS graduate programs, visit https://ffgs.ifas.ufl.edu/academics/graduate/.
