Aquaculture in the Classroom Teacher Training

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences (FDACS) Division of Aquaculture, in partnership with the University of Florida Tropical Aquaculture Lab (UF TAL), Florida Sea Grant and the Florida Aquaculture Association, is excited to announce a new training and award opportunity for K-12 science and agriculture educators in Florida. FDACS and UF TAL will host a three-day, hands-on aquaculture education workshop in Ruskin in late July 2023 and competitively award up to six recirculating aquaculture systems, as well as a number of supplementary aquaponic system supplies, to schools throughout the state of Florida.
