Robert (Bob) Alexander

Bob began employment with USDA-APHIS-Wildlife Services in 2000 working in Missouri and Iowa to alleviate human/wildlife conflicts involving a wide variety of bird and mammal species. An FAA-Qualified Airport Wildlife Biologist, he has spent years mitigating wildlife threats to aviation safety. His experience includes working with cooperators and stakeholders in agricultural, industrial, commercial, manufacturing, government, park, and conservation settings. At the beginning of 2016, Bob moved to the Tampa Bay area as district supervisor responsible for South Florida from Ocala to Key West. His office is based at the UF Tropical Aquaculture Laboratory in Ruskin.
